Refining is carried out by continuous rectification of hydrocarbon raw materials. The process takes place in rectification columns with mass-exchange nozzles. This allows to achieve high efficiency and productivity, increases the service life of the equipment.

Mini refinery equipment for the plant is made as easily assembled block-modular structures. As a result, the plant is easy to install and commissioning, quickly starts to produce. The design consists of the following blocks (types of equipment at the refinery):

- heat exchangers - heat the feedstock and cool the finished petroleum product;
- condensers - condense vapors of light oil products;
- column block of K-1 and K-2 type, where rectification takes place;
- coolers - condense hydrocarbon vapors, cool fractions of light oil products and fuel oil;
- evaporator: evaporates residual gasoline fractions from diesel fuel, regulates flash point of diesel fuel;
- evaporation column - stabilizes raw materials, creates a stock of stripped product for further processing
- process pumps - feed raw materials to the unit, move raw materials and finished products within the unit, pump petroleum products out of the unit.
